Terms of Service — The Collection Goblins

Welcome to The Collection Goblins (thecollectiongoblins.co.uk). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and your purchase of any products from us. By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

The Collection Goblins is a UK-based trading card business run by Billy and Georgia, selling Pokémon TCG singles, bulk cards, sealed products, mystery boxes and accessories online and in person at card shows and car boot sales.

2. Trademark disclaimer

The Collection Goblins is an independent reseller and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures Inc., or The Pokémon Company International. Pokémon and all related names, images and trademarks are property of their respective owners. We simply buy, sell and trade officially licensed Pokémon TCG products.

3. Orders and acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is only formed once we send you an order confirmation email.
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order, for example where a listing has a pricing or description error, an item is discovered to be out of stock, or we suspect fraudulent activity. If we cancel your order you will receive a full refund.
Prices are shown in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout.

4. Card condition and grading

All card conditions (e.g. NM, LP, MP, HP, DMG) are graded by us to the best of our judgement and are subjective. Where possible we photograph the actual item; for bulk lots and mystery products this isn't possible (see below).
Vintage and pre-owned cards may show natural signs of age or handling consistent with the stated condition.
If you believe an item was materially misdescribed, please contact us within 14 days of delivery with photos so we can review it.

5. Bulk lots

Bulk/lot listings are sold as a mixed group of cards. Exact contents, condition mix, and rarity of individual cards within a bulk lot are not guaranteed or itemised unless specifically stated in the listing.

6. Mystery boxes and mystery products

Mystery boxes and mystery products contain randomised contents. We do not guarantee specific cards, sets, values, or "hits" will be included unless explicitly stated in the listing.
Odds, where published, are indicative and not a guarantee of outcome.
By their nature, mystery products are a novelty/collector item rather than a guaranteed-value purchase, and are not suitable as an investment.

7. In-person sales (card shows and car boot sales)

Purchases made face-to-face at a card show, car boot sale, or other in-person event are not distance sales and are not covered by the online cancellation rights described in our Refund Policy. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (see Section 8) still apply.

8. Your statutory rights

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including your right to goods that are as described, of satisfactory quality, and fit for purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of our website or products.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
